Mr Grim's Tower

Earlier this year I was working with Oxford Univeristy Press on their exciting new school reader series Project X.

The series doesn't come out until January next year but I've just received a copy of one of the books I wrote for the series - Mr Grim's Tower.

The artwork has been done by the wonderful Korky Paul and it looks great.
It was good working with Korky again - he illustrated my Snail's Legs picture book as well as one of my very first books Presto's New Pet.

It's always exciting to receive the first copy isn't it? I know I get excited with each of Lynne's new books. I don't think I will ever get blase about them.

Yes indeed, that's one of the best things about it i think. It's great seeing how everything comes together.

Not being able to illustrate it's wonderful seeing how things have been interpreted by the different artists and I've never been disapointed yet.

This looks and sounds great!

And I found the inside pics from Snail's Legs too. Lovely. Sounds very silly. What are the weird little purply creatures?

Korky is so good it makes me want to curl up and die.
